DESCRIPTION:The Newport Transportation Study will examine the impacts of new development and will consider the benefits that an updated\, multi-modal transportation network will have on the town’s goal of becoming a more walkable and transit-friendly place.  The Newport River Trail\, one of the Future Trails of Northern Delaware Coalition projects\, would be a part of that network\, connecting the town to the Wilmington riverfront\, and areas south on the Jack A. Markell Trail. Attend this public workshop online to review and provide feedback on recommendations to improve the safety\, walkability\, and transit-friendliness of the Town of Newport.
