DESCRIPTION:The Walkable Bikeable Delaware Summit is coming up May 2nd! This year the summit will focus on the Dutch and how their transportation is structured to support bicyclists. You’ll get to hear three speakers from the Netherlands explain how they’ve accomplished this and in turn made short-distance bicycling popular for the Dutch.  Whether you’re an organization seeking to advance non-motorized traffic\, or an avid cyclist or walker\, this should be an inspiring day for all.  Plus you’ll have access to vendors and exhibits all day long\, including Delaware Greenways!  We’re proud to support the summit again this year.  Stop by our tent and take a look at what trail projects we’re pursuing\, to connect you to where you want to go! \nThe summit is free\, but REGISTRATION is required (lunch is included). \nHope to see you on The Green in Dover\, May 2nd!

DESCRIPTION:Come join us at the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Greenways & Trails Summit\, hosted by East Coast Greenway\, and featuring a first-rate program with roundtables\, mobile workshops\, and inspiring keynotes. The event will bring together other leaders and advocates of active transportation and greenway and trail development to advance bicycling and walking innovations across the region.  Delaware Greenways is co-hosting one of Friday’s workshops:  “Creative Trail Funding Strategies for Trail Development” (check the Summit schedule to see further details). \nHelp celebrate the region’s progress in developing the East Coast Greenway (Delaware sections of the ECG follow the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail and the Jack A.
