Non-motorized transportation planning
Non-motorized transportation is at the core of Delaware Greenways’ work. See our work to improve Delaware’s non-motorized transportation infrastructure in the following areas: Scenic Byways;Greenways and Trails; and Healthy Communities.
Scenic Byways
Delaware Greenways is the leader in the development of Scenic and Historic Byways in Delaware (Brandywine Valley National Scenic Byway, Route Nine Coastal Heritage Scenic Byway and the Lewes Historic and Scenic Byway) and is working in all three counties to secure Byway designations that will protect and enhance cultural, natural and scenic resources that are of importance to those that live and work in these areas.
