Shaping the Future

Create the Future of Delaware's Trails and Byways

Delaware Greenways is actively shaping the future – connecting people to the scenic, tranquil and wildlife-rich areas in our state. We work to create more trail connections, bike, and pedestrian travel options, and beautiful scenic byways for recreation and transportation.

We are shaping the future in myriad ways:

  • We actively seek ways to connect everyone to where they want to go, opening up non-pedestrian traffic for recreation, shopping, and work. This brings new traffic to our local businesses and improves visitors’ enjoyment of our state’s amenities.
  • We carefully prioritize our scenic byways, protecting and preserving historic, cultural, and environmental characteristics of our beautiful backroads.

Interested  in helping Delaware Greenways get you where you want to go? We’d love to hear from you.
