Interested in volunteering with us? We have on-going activities and projects with varying volunteer needs to suit your time and interests. 

• Bike & Walk Guide
  Lead small groups on guided bike rides and walks along some of Delaware’s most popular trails. Help new and returning trail users explore these outdoor connections. Training is provided. 
• Committee Work
  Whether you have a background in communications, event planning, policy, or simply a passion for outdoor recreation, there’s a place for you on one of our committees. A great way to deepen your involvement and make a lasting impact. 
• Event Support
  Help us run our events smoothly — from setup to breakdown and everything in between. Flexible scheduling and a great way to get involved. 

• Outreach Ambassador
  Help Delaware Greenways spread the word by representing us at community events, festivals, and pop-ups across the region. Share our mission, connect with neighbors, and grow our network of supporters. Training provided. 
• Photographer
  Help Delaware Greenways capture people actively enjoying Delaware’s trails and the Delaware Bayshore. No professional experience necessary — just a good eye and a love of the outdoors. Your photos help inspire new trail users, support our advocacy, and bring our mission to life across social media, our website, and outreach materials. Photos submitted may be used by Delaware Greenways for promotional purposes. 
• Trail Steward
  Keep Delaware’s trails beautiful. Join a crew for seasonal clean-ups, litter removal, and light trail monitoring. A great option for individuals, families, or groups. No experience necessary.
