Bancroft Bridge Project Update Meeting

On March 28th, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm DNREC will share the latest news on the Bancroft Bridge.

A clearer picture in view on this important connection.

DNREC, Division of Parks and Recreation is inviting the public to join a virtual meeting on Tuesday, March 28th, 2023, regarding Bancroft Bridge project updates. Similar to the past meetings, the division will be recording the meeting and will have it available on Alapocas Run State Park’s website. We’ll also share details from the meeting on our Northern Delaware Greenway Trail website page. We’re as anxious as you are to see this trail and park connector reopened!

Meeting access information found below.

The bridge has been closed since early September 2021, when it sustained extensive structural damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida.

Visit the Northern Delaware Greenway Trail page on this website to review past updates on the bridge’s condition.
