A Piece of our Mission: Bike Safety

If you’ve ever ridden a bicycle, you know the incredible feeling, traveling a road or pathway with those two (3 or 4) wheels beneath you.  It can feel quite liberating most of the time.  Whether you’re bicycling for recreation or to commute to work, traveling by bike is an adventurous way to go.

Many of us are fortunate, and learn to ride during childhood, others maybe later in life.  But in each of those first outings, we learn the basics to keep us upright; how to steer, pedal and brake.  It’s natural to simply go from there, riding off into the sunset, without learning more about bike safety and laws.   We thought it would be helpful, for bicyclists and motorists  if we shared that information, to help you safely navigate on trails, pathways and roadways.  Trail users also check out our Trail Safety page for all non-motorized users.

Visit this page frequently to view additional information, as it’s added!
