Gordons Pond Trail in Cape Henlopen State Park is ready for the busy summer season! The trail is now open every day and the contractor has removed their equipment from the parking lot in Rehoboth. Sections of the trail had been closed this spring to allow for excavation and other repairs. Learn more about the Gordons Pond Trail
The newly repaired areas are north of the Gordons Pond Parking Area to the southern limit of the elevated walkway from Herring Point. Discover the Gordons Pond Trail.
The Junction & Breakwater Trail also received improvements this spring, which involved fencing replacements along the causeway, regrading of the trails’ edges and resurfacing the trail with stone dust. Discover the Junction & Breakwater Trail.
