On October 24th the Historic Lewes Byway Committee held a reception to thank Senator Ernesto Lopez and State Representative Steve Smyk for graciously funding the New Road Corridor Master Plan, and other government agencies involved in and supporting the plan. Delaware Greenways has donated their expertise in assisting with the transportation element of the New Road CMP. We know the positive effects that can be made with the proper plan, and are glad to be a part of the process and eventual outcome of this one. It’s an extremely important step for this area.
