Delaware is receiving RAISE grants to support trail improvements that are pivotal for outdoor connections in New Castle and Sussex Counties!

Join the City of Newark, Bike Newark and Wilmington Area Planning Council at this open house workshop to help plan for the next generation of bicycle improvements. The goal is to foster a more connected and sustainable community. Learn more about the 2025 Newark Bicycle Plan.
The workshop will promote interaction and dialogue among community members and organizers. Active participation from the community is encouraged to discuss critical topics such as:
• Priority improvements
• Safety improvements
• Land use planning for active transportation
• Equity in transportation access
• Installation of bike racks
• Bicycling’s role in sustainability initiatives
