BALANCING NATURE AND COMMERCE IN THE BRANDYWINE VALLEY

The Conservation Fund – Conservation Leadership Network offered a workshop at Winterthur Museum and Gardens on April 8th and 9th, to discuss ‘Balancing Nature and Commerce in the Brandywine Valley.  The purpose was “to bring Stakeholders of the Brandywine Valley region together to generate community-driven action plans for projects that capitalize on the establishment of the First State National Historical Park, and foster asset-based economic development and conservation stewardship of the region’s natural, cultural, and historical assets”, as the TCF’s program states.
