“New Castle County Department of Land Use, DelDOT, and WILMAPCO are developing a Master Plan for the Concord Pike (US 202) Corridor, encompassing an area between the City of Wilmington and the Pennsylvania state line. The Master Plan will provide a 20-year vision that identifies cohesive land use and transportation strategies to ensure that Concord Pike will continue to be a safe, accessible, and economically thriving place for all.” – WILMAPCO
On April 1st a virtual workshop was held to provide updates to the public on the Concord Pike Master Plan. The results from the last public online survey were shared, planned and potential updates were reviewed. including those involving multi-modal transportation (biking, walking, pubic transit). We’re glad to see the public providing input and feedback, as they did with the last survey. There’s a NEW short survey, available through May 29th, that’ll help further shape the future of this important roadway. We hope you’ll take it! Stay tuned here for updates.
