Commons Blvd Trail’s Creekwood Rd Segment Opens
The first segment of the Commons Blvd Trail has been completed, opening up a commuter route that will grow, expanding access!
The Concord Pike Monitoring Committee (CPMC) was formed in 2021 to guide and fulfill the recommendations of the Concord Pike Master Plan, which established a shared vision for the transportation and land use of the corridor. During the 2023-2024 cycle, the CPMC met three (3) times and then held a Public Workshop on June 12, 2024. All meeting materials and recordings can be found on Wilmington Area Planning Council’s website.
The Summer 2024 Newsletter shares what was discussed and completed during the 2023-24 year, and includes the Committee’s Annual Report.
The 2023 Annual Concord Pike Monitoring Report is a summary of transportation and land use conditions and changes within the Concord Pike (US 202) Project Area, including how the projects in the Concord Pike Master Plan are being implemented. It updates and builds upon information provided in the first monitoring report (2022 Annual Report).
The interactive online format of the report, allows users to explore and understand the data in greater detail than would be possible with a static, printed report.
Delaware Greenways remains active on the Concord Pike Monitoring Committee, using our experience in developing safer pathways to better inform projects. If you live locally to this roadway, access it for public transit, or travel it on foot, car, or bicycle, we encourage you to stay aware of proposed projects, and provide your feedback.
