Five Points Transportation Study Public Open House
DelDOT will be sharing information on the Five Points Transportation Study, and area projects including the Savannah Rd Master Plan and Lewes Bike Plan.
In early June 2020, the Department of Transportation, Secretary, Jennifer Cohan, signed and approved the Delaware Bayshore Byway Corridor Management Plan – Update 2020. Delaware Greenways and the Delaware Bayshore Byway Management Team completed the Corridor Management Plan – Update 2020 and submitted the document to the Department of Transportation. Also important news for this wonderful scenic roadway, is the Delaware Bayshore Byway Management Team’s application submission to have the byway designated as an All American Road. The designation will enhance travel tourism, sound economic development, education and preservation, and offer opportunity for enhancement projects with Byway stakeholders and among their specific communities. The number of small river towns and greater community for which the Delaware Bayshore Byway represents would benefit. Citizens and interests would take great pride in this designation.
