Brandywine Creek Greenway Strategic Action Plan Update
The updated draft of the Brandywine Creek Greenway’s Strategic Action Plan is now available for review and comment.
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) in cooperation with Delaware Greenways and the Delaware Bayshore Byway Management and Partnership Team, have drafted and updated their Corridor Management Plan (CMP) for 2020 on the Delaware Bayshore Byway.
Interested members of the public, stakeholders, or other governing entities are invited to offer input to ensure adequacy and completeness before final sign-off and acknowledgment by DelDOT of the current draft plan can occur. Your comments are sought and appreciated.
The draft CMP aims to update goals and accomplishments of the Bayshore Byway to reflect the progress that has been made over the past 7 years, and add major program initiatives for the future. Additionally, it defines the extension of the byway south to the Historic Lewes Byway, and introduces 10 new Discovery Zones south of Dover, to the terminus of the Historic Lewes Byway.
Once you view the plan, insert your general or detailed feedback onto the comment form (both can be found below).
Submit your form by FRIDAY, APRIL 24, 2020, to DelDOT’s Planning Office’s mailing or email address provided in the form.
