Experiencing History on the JAM Trail

Historic New Castle to Wilmington Connecting the Past to the Present

On Saturday, June 13th, a total of 38 riders came together for the Delaware Freedom Ride, a meaningful journey through Delaware’s history, communities, and trail network.

The ride featured inspiring remarks about Delaware’s Freedom Fighters and the people and places that helped shape our state’s history, creating a powerful experience that connected the past with the present.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, as well as our partners at Urban Bike Project, for making this year’s Freedom Ride such a success.

Together, we’re creating opportunities to explore Delaware, connect with one another, and experience the stories that make our communities unique.
