Grant Writer Position

Rewarding work creating outdoor connections

Delaware Greenways seeks part-time, experienced grant writer to help it fulfill its mission to develop and promote trails, pathways and scenic road corridors that welcome all people and communities.
 
Working remotely, this creative thinker and writer will research, identify, and write grant proposals to support the organization’s priorities, playing a vital role in helping Delaware Greenways achieve its vision to empower everyone to live healthier lives as they discover and enjoy the outdoors.
 
Qualifications and Skills Needed:
 
  • Experience in identifying, applying for, and receiving grants from public and private sources is a priority.
  • Initiative-taking
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with staff and potential donors on grant proposals.
