East Coast Greenway in DE
A groundswell of efforts continue toward completing the multiple sections of the East Coast Greenway in Delaware.
We’re proud to announce that Mary Roth, Delaware Greenways’ executive director, has been selected as a recipient of Delaware Business Times’ Mitchell Award!
This special recognition is for “individuals in the First State who have demonstrated leadership and success in building bridges between communities despite race, gender and social status.
Named for the late Delaware civil rights pioneers Littleton and Jane Mitchell, the Mitchell Awards showcase those who are championing efforts to educate, inspire and impact communities across the state. This award is intended for those who work tirelessly to create opportunities for all Delawareans.” Read the announcement.
We’ll be celebrating Mary, and the five other exceptional individuals receiving Mitchell Awards, at a ceremony in October. Please join us in congratulating Mary for this well deserved recognition of her tireless and impactful work! Congratulations, Mary!
