The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will be hosting a public workshop to review semi-final plans for the East Coast Greenway, SR4 Shared-Use Path Project.
This workshop will be held in conjunction with the WILMAPCO’s Churchmans Crossing Area 2024 Public Workshop, another impactful project that includes improvements for bicycle and pedestrian travel.
“The East Coast Greenway, SR4 Shared-Use Path Project consists of the construction of a 10′ wide shared use pathway along SR4 from Augusta Drive to the Allendale Apartments, as well as several other traffic calming and bicycle/ pedestrian intersection crossing improvements, and improving walking and bicycling access to adjacent properties, roadways, and communities. The concept for this project was presented at an East Coast Greenway regional partners meeting in August of 2023. Since then, the project has worked through DelDOT’s plan review process and is currently at semi-final plans. At this workshop, DelDOT staff will present materials providing an overview of the project scope, as well as a copy of the semi-final plans for review and comment. ” – DelDOT
