Connect with Delaware Greenways

We Did It! YOU Did It! We are excited to share that we have met our New Donor Matching Gift Challenge goal! All of us at Delaware Greenways extend our deepest gratitude to each person who contributed to our efforts for the first-time. Thanks to your generosity, $15,198.35 was raised, allowing us to receive the full $15K matching contribution offered to us by another kind and thoughtful donor. We're still looking to bridge the gap from the loss of significant grant funding for our Trails Program. As our Annual Giving Campaign begins next week and runs through December (including Giving Tuesday), we hope we can count on all of you, whether a first-time donor or a continuing contributor to donate what you can to support the work we're doing toward outdoor connections in Delaware. As we saw with the New Donor Challenge, working together we can keep the momentum going!Learn more about Delaware Greenways: delawaregreenways.org/#delawaretrails #outdoorconnections #delawareoutdoors #getoutside #roadslesstraveled #DelawareNonprofit #CommunityConnections #Delaware #delawaregreenways35th ... White Out on the horizon… Soon the peaceful waters of the Delaware Bay along Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge will be COVERED with migrating snow geese. Hundreds of thousands of them! 😮 😳 These beautiful birds travel miles from the brutal Arctic winter to the Delaware coast. It’s similar to our migration to the beach come summer, except fun is the goal not warmth. 🏖️ 😂If you’ve never witnessed this phenomenon this is your year! By Thanksgiving and through the holiday season, flocks of snow geese will arrive daily at Bombay Hook and Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuges. We can’t wait! Stay tuned…Info on both refuges on the Delaware Bayshore Byway website. www.delawarebayshorebyway.org#bombayhooknationalwildliferefuge #primehooknationalwildliferefuge #delawarebayshore #delawarebayshorebyway #snowgeesemigration #snowgeese #birdwatching #delawarebirders #delawarebay #smyrnadelaware #miltondelaware Coastal Delaware National Wildlife Refuges Friends of Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge Friends of Bombay Hook Delaware Ornithological Society American Birding Association Delaware Bayshore Byway ...
