#GivingTuesdayNow

As we navigate through these trying days, we’re finding that spending time outdoors is the one true thing bringing a moment of peace for many of us. Our mood brightens, hope is renewed, we feel re-energized, healthier in mind and body.

For those reasons, now more than ever, we’re seeing just how important safe trail connections are to individuals and communities. People of all ages, walks of life and physical ability are enjoying them, some for the very first time. For Delaware Greenways, these connections are at the core of our mission.

If you’ve traveled on the Jack A. Markell Trail, the Northern Delaware Greenway, Mike N. Castle C&D Canal, Junction Breakwater or Gordons Pond Trails, you’ve enjoyed trails we’ve advocated for and helped bring to completion. We continue to move forward on new connections to parks, recreation and destinations you’ve told us are important to you, but we need your help.

From all of us at Delaware Greenways, we hope you stay safe and healthy. We’re looking forward to the day when we can all gather together again… Happy trails indeed!

We are asking for your help!

On May 5th, we’re participating in #GivingTuesdayNow, a special global day of giving.

Please mark your calendar, and donate what you can that day to support our mission to ‘create outdoor connections for everyone’.
